Come and tasteDiscover our wide range of specialty beers brewed in the heart of Belgium. The brewery allows itself to be inspired by a number of beer styles! We are constantly inspired and tempted to write new recipes resulting in new creations with unique flavours. Some are available all year round, others are seasonal like our spring and winter beers.
Is a blond abbey beer that is brewed from several types of grain (barley, oats, spelt). This top-fermented beer has a medium body and a creamy foam that sticks to the glass. It is a pleasant blond beer with a slightly spicy aroma. The taste begins malty followed by a fruity and later spicy touch accompanied by a beautiful hoppy aftertaste. It is a refreshing beer with a hoppy and aromatic fragrance.
Is a triple abbey beer that is brewed from different types of grains (barley, oats, spelt). This top-fermented beer appears in the glass with a beautiful saturated colour of old gold and has a firm creamy foam. The aroma is a complex bouquet with a noticeable spiciness and fruity esters. In the mouth one experiences a firm body and a somewhat silky mouthfeel. The taste is a perfect interaction of fruity and spicy tones carried by a sweetish honey-like malt character and spicy hops. This triple, partly due to its high carbonation, has a nice bitter finish with substantial spicy-fruity yeast character.
This is an amber multigrain abbey beer with a firm head, a typical characteristic of all Père Glorieux beers in fact. Its rich, full-bodied taste is the result of the selection of various malts which, together, create a harmonious palette of flavors. When tasting it, one discovers hints of caramel and biscuit. It is a soft but certainly not sweet amber beer due to the nice balance with the spicy and fruity hop varieties and the signature of the specific yeast culture. The beer is particularly rich in aromas and also offers a long spicy aftertaste that can be described rather as spicy - hoppy.
Is a brown abbey beer brewed with different grains (barley, spelt, oats) according to the double style. It has a medium body and a reddish-brown color with a firm creamy foam. In the nose the sultry smell of caramel, tropical fruit and candy and a hint of chocolate captivates. The taste confirms what was already to be discovered in the aroma and is full of a rich and complex malt character and notes of chocolate and sweet fruit (figs, dates). The clearly present candy contributes harmoniously to the balanced character of this typical Belgian double. Despite the sweet malt character and the medium bitterness that does not permeate the aftertaste, this beer ends rather dry.
Is a quadruple abbey beer, a strong top-fermented beer that is brewed only once a year during the autumn equinox when the sun is perpendicular to the equator. It has a ruby red glow and has a unique aroma of specially selected malts blended with the carefully selected winter herbs. This dark liquid monk has a very full-bodied velvety mouthfeel. In the taste one discovers notes of liquorice, raisins, dark candy and an impression of anise. The herbs never take over and reveal in the taste the same warming complexity as in the aromas ending with a soft bitterness in the aftertaste.
Is a golden blond beer with a fine white creamy head resulting in characteristic Belgian lace. It is a very aromatic fruity beer (banana, peach) accompanied by hop aromas that betray the lush use of noble aroma hops. The taste returns to the complex fruitiness after a sweet malt start, immersed in a round mouthfeel. Macharius is a well attenuated beer that, with its higher degree of carbonization required for a triple, has a pleasantly long bitter finish.
Is a blond saison beer of mixed fermentation in which no less than 3 yeast strains were used. It is brewed according to a special process and is fermented 3 times during the entire process. This beer has a brass colour and a beautiful creamy head. The aroma is fruity and spicy. The taste gives a honey-like malty touch followed by spicy earthy hops. It is a beer that ends drybitter after a long aftertaste just as one would expect of a saison beer.
Is a light straw blond beer with a firm bright white head, It has a medium light body and a pleasant grain character. The aroma is subtly fruity and blends perfectly with the hop aromas present, giving it a subtle floral touch. The taste is mild, fruity, harmoniously balanced by the 3 hop varieties. This low alcohol and medium carbonated beer is nevertheless remarkably full of flavors and well-attenuated.
Is an amber light copper-coloured beer, with a very firm white head. It has a unique blend of fruity and hoppy aromas. The medium body experienced in the mouth is followed by a mild fruity taste with hints of caramel and biscuit. A subtle balance between the beer's full-bodied yet complex flavour and bitterness. This beer has a long finish that ends dry. With the use of 5 malts, 3 hops and 2 yeast strains, this beer is an example of a complex but pleasantly drinkable craft beer.
Is a strong saison beer with a slightly spicy character that has no equal. The beer has a beautiful saturated blond yellow colour and a firm white head. To brew this unique beer, a large proportion of spelt was used and no less than 4 Belgian hop varieties. It is a mixed fermentation beer in which different yeast cultures are used and from which it derives its typical aromatic and complex spiciness. These yeast cultures also ensure that this beer achieves a very high attenuation and contains virtually no residual sugars. Despite the fact that analysis shows that this is an extremely dry beer, one still experiences a round mouth feeling, mainly due to yeast by-products. The aroma is fruity and spicy, in the taste the same soft spicy hop bitterness comes back and blend in a long and dry aftertaste.
This cycling beer pays tribute to Lucien Van Impe, the last Belgian cyclist to win the Tour de France. It is a complex multi-grain beer of the imperial saison type (farmhouse ale). A strong blond beer brewed from barley, spelt and oats. This beer is literally put into the (hop) flowers through the method of dryhopping. During the maturation of the beer in the fermenter we add the extra aroma hops. The result is a very tasty beer in which the hop aroma is absorbed into the beer but not the bitterness. As a result, the beer is enriched with a pronounced but balanced fruity aroma and flavor accent.
Is a blond saison beer with a slightly spicy character and has a firm white head. To brew this light-bodied beer, a large proportion of spelt and 3 Belgian hop varieties were used. De Kleinen, like its bigger brother, is very well attenuated and with its lower alcohol content and dry character it is a real summer thirst-quencher. The soft spicy hop bitterness blends into a long dry aftertaste. This exclusive saison contains virtually no residual sugar!
Every year we go abroad on an inspirational trip and research lost brewing history, which feeds our creativity.
ImagesIn our artisan beer cheeses you taste the full characteristic flavor of raw milk and artisan beer. With daily fresh milk from the cows the tomb is filled in the morning and by noon the beer cheese is already resting under the press. The beer can be tasted throughout the cheese because it is also completely mixed with the curd and not merely matured or washed in beer. Because of this process and because both the milk and the beer are not pasteurized, we can guarantee a very intense taste experience.
The beer is actually an ingredient of the entire cheese from the beginning of the production process.
During the weeks of maturation that follow, we have the beer cheeses in our hands every day. Until the moment they are ready for consumption, this patience you must taste...
Our brewery offers three semi-hard beer cheeses, all cheeses can be kept in a cool place for at least 6 months to a year, but of course they are already very delicious when young.
This is a beer cheese made with our brown Père Glorieux abbey beer (double), formed by his soft character and wrapped in a brown crust.

We make this beer cheese with our award-winning Père Totale quadruple beer. It is therefore a robust cheese that is full and powerful in flavor with a subtle spicy finish. Moreover, this cheese lends itself well to ripening a little longer. This cheese is finished with a black rind.
