Is a quadruple abbey beer, a strong top-fermented beer that is brewed only once a year during the autumn equinox when the sun is perpendicular to the equator.. It has a ruby red glow and has a unique aroma of specially selected malts blended with the carefully selected winter herbs. This dark liquid monk has a very full-bodied velvety mouthfeel. In the taste one discovers notes of liquorice, raisins, dark candy and an impression of anise. The herbs never take over and reveal in the taste the same warming complexity as in the aromas ending with a soft bitterness in the aftertaste.
